Special Education is specially designed instruction, at no cost to the parent, to meet the unique needs of students with a disability. Special education includes instruction in the classroom, resource room, home, hospital, and other settings.

At Chee Dodge Elementary School, our Special Education Department includes three teachers: Learning Support teacher & IEP Chair; Learning Support & Life Skills teacher; and Kim Wells, Preschool and teacher of Developmentally Delayed students. The Special Education Department services students with very diverse disabilities.
